Privacy Policy

We pay the utmost attention to the treatment of personal data of both our customers and users of our services in general, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

1. Definitions

Within this policy, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below and related terms shall be construed accordingly:

Personal data”, hereinafter ” PCD “: means any information that allows the direct or indirect identification of a natural person.

Regulation “means, for the purposes hereof, all laws and regulations applicable in France in terms of personal data protection, i.e., aimed at protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals and, in particular, their right to privacy with respect to the processing of their PADs and, in particular, the European Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (“RGPD”) and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 as amended.

Data subject “, ” Controller “, ” Joint Controllers “, ” Processor “, ” processing “, ” supervisory authority “, ” personal data breach “, ” impact assessment ” retain the meaning ascribed to them in the above-mentioned Regulation.

In order to guarantee the quality of its services and to ensure that its website functions as well as possible, VALUES ASSOCIATES processes personal data of the user during the latter’s navigation on the website www.values-associates.fr, hereinafter referred to as “the Website”.

The person in charge of processing the Site is the company VALUES ASSOCIATES, which undertakes to comply with the general regulations on data protection (RGPD n°2016/679, the law n°2004-575 of June 21, 2004 for confidence in the digital economy, the law n°78-17- LIL- modified by the law n° 2018-493 of June 20, 2018 and the resulting regulatory texts).

VALUES ASSOCIATES undertakes to comply with its legal obligations under the applicable law and the aforementioned Regulations, and to enable its contractor to comply with the applicable law and the Regulations.

VALUES ASSOCIATES shall carry out all formalities required by the regulations or any other legal or regulatory provision applicable to the protection of privacy and personal data with the competent authorities.

VALUES ASSOCIATES adopts technical and organizational security and confidentiality measures adapted to the risks and in accordance with the state of the art, and to provide mechanisms for managing authorizations, allowing access to the DCP to be limited to only those persons who need to know about it.

VALUES ASSOCIATES undertakes to keep the processed PCDs only for the time necessary for processing, plus the legal limitation periods during which the information will be archived for any accounting, tax or legal claim.

VALUES ASSOCIATES is committed to :

  • Not to disseminate, communicate, sell, assign, license or otherwise provide the DCP to third parties (except for consultants, auditors, representatives, managers)
  • Do not make FCDs a commercial operation.
  • To treat the FADs in strict compliance with the regulations in force on the subject;
  • To ensure the confidentiality of this information by its employees who need to know it;
  • Process PADs within the European Economic Area or in a country considered adequate by the European Commission or offering sufficient guarantees in terms of security and data protection, such as the Privacy Shields for the United States.
  • Inform data subjects about the processing carried out and their rights;
  • Responding to requests from individuals;
  • Notify the persons concerned of any data breach that may affect their rights and freedoms;
  • To make available to the Principal, and on simple request of the latter, the information and documents making it possible to demonstrate the compliance of the Principal with the Regulation

In view of the information made available to and/or collected by VALUES ASSOCIATES, the latter ensures the information of the persons concerned as provided for in Article 13 of the European Data Protection Regulation.

It is recalled in this regard that each individual concerned has:

  • a right of access to his data, i.e. the right to request communication of the data concerning him;
  • a right to rectify erroneous or incomplete data that can be implemented by means of a complementary declaration;
  • a right to the deletion of his data, unless VALUES ASSOCIATES has a legitimate and compelling reason to continue processing the data concerned;
  • a right to limit the processing of its data. This right consists of the possibility for the User to ask VALUES ASSOCIATES to freeze the use of his personal data. This right must be exercised simultaneously with the right of rectification;
  • a right to data portability. This right consists in particular in the transmission on request of the User in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format of the data concerning him;
  • the right to withdraw consent to data processing at any time for processing operations based on this legal basis, without affecting the lawfulness of the consent prior to its withdrawal;
  • The right to define directives concerning the fate of his or her data after his or her death.

VALUES ASSOCIATES undertakes to respond to the requests of the persons concerned within one month of receiving a request.

If, in spite of all our efforts, the persons concerned consider our response unsatisfactory, they are reminded that they have the right to lodge a complaint with the French control body, the CNIL. VALUES ASSOCIATES takes all necessary and appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality, security, availability and integrity of the DCP.

VALUES ASSOCIATES takes all reasonable measures to guarantee the reliability of any employee, agent or service provider who may have access to the PADs processed for the execution of the real estate management mandate and, in particular, that he respects the confidentiality of the information he has to know.

VALUES ASSOCIATES has adopted an information security program that incorporates appropriate and proportionate administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as:

  • Pseudonymization, insofar as this measure is proportionate to the means and risks and the computer tools of VALUES ASSOCIATES allow it, and/or the encryption of the processed PCDs,
  • The means to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and ongoing resilience of DCP and Materials;
  • The means to restore availability and access to DCP within a reasonable timeframe in the event of a technical or physical incident;
  • A process to test, evaluate and assess the effectiveness of technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of data processing;
  • Active physical and digital archiving.

VALUES ASSOCIATES undertakes to regularly audit and review the Information Security Program to ensure its continued effectiveness and to determine whether adjustments are necessary in light of changing circumstances, including changes in technology, regulations, industry practices, or threats and risks that may affect PCD.

VALUES ASSOCIATES does not process or transfer the PADs it collects outside the European Economic Area, or any country deemed adequate by the European Commission, or any country offering sufficient guarantees within the meaning of the Regulation, without the prior written consent of the Principal and without setting up adequate protection of the PADs in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation.

VALUES ASSOCIATES ensures that any such agreement includes security obligations imposed on the recipient of the PADs at least equivalent to those in this Policy.

Cookie policy

During the user’s navigation on the online platform of VALUES ASSOCIATES, personal data about the user may be collected, in particular, through the deposit of cookies and various types of tracers on the user’s terminal.
